  • Overview

Radar detectors and laser detectors are illegal to use in Manitoba. The government of Manitoba is planning to extend the controversial photo radar and red light camera systems to highways and other municipalities throughout the province. The current legislation that allows for the cameras to be installed in Winnipeg also permits the devices to be used in other parts of the province.

Please CONTACT US if the information on this page is no longer accurate, and you want to suggest adding or removing noted speed traps in your area or where you have recently traveled.

    Academy Rd

    University of Manitoba
Heading east or west on University Crescent as you leave or enter the University of Manitoba at the U of M's University crescent/Pembina Highway entrance. They have speedtraps here and love to be there during the end of the day usually when classes let out.
    Pembina Hwy
Intersection of Pembina and Bison Dr. either going north or south. They will lurk in the parking lot of the autobody shop and the apartment complex at that corner.
