  • Bath is an agricultural community specializing in growing potatoes for McCain's french fries. The Bath area has strong Irish heritage around Johnville, and is best known as thebirthplace of Klondike Kate. The town is named for Bath in 1868, most likely after the town in Somerset, England, though possibly after the town of Bath at the o9outh of teh Kennebec River in Maine.

    Monquart River No 3 Covered Bridge
    North of Johnville Road, Johnville
    This bridge was built in 1927, and destroyed by fire in 2001. This bridge is located north of Johnville off Route 565 on North Johnville Road near Bath. It has a span of 86', and a length of 89'
