Fredericton Lighthouse Museum

A magnificent view of Fredericton tops 15 levels of stories, displays, children's play areas and a gift shop at the lighthouse museum. Public washrooms are located at the back of this building. Admission to the ground level gift shop is free. Admission to the upper levels: Adults: $2, Children: $1 plus HST. Hours: May & June: Mon to Fri, 10am-4pm. Sat & Sun, 12pm-4pm; July & Aug: open daily 10am-9pm.
The Green
The Green is a 5 km long pathway system stretching along the Saint John River in the heart of downtown Fredericton, linked to another 60 km of trails throughout the city. A Riverfront Walkway runs from the Sheraton Fredericton Hotel past Old Government House, underneath the Trans-Canada Trail Bridge. to the Princess Margaret Bridge. The stretch between the Westmoreland St Bridge and the Tail Bridge is named Limpert Lane in honour of Marianne Limpert silver medallist in 200 metre medley swimming event in the 1996 Olympics. The Rgent Street Wharf provides various services to passing waterraft includng gas, electrical hookup and awter, and is open from May until September (506 455-1445). You can also take river cruises from here about the Carleton II (506 454-2628) or the Wood Duck (506 477-7494)
Trail Bridge
This bridge is an old CN Railways bridge, now transformed into a pedestrian bridge connecting north and south Fredericton. The bridge is part of the Trans-Canada Trail system and is 1,905 ft long, which is one of the longest bridged sections of the trail in New Brunswick. The bridge was officially re-opened in 1997, and provides a number of look-outs for panoramic views of the city. On the north side of the bridge is the Ducks Unlimited Conservation Centre.
