This pretty town with 1000 residents is at the junction of the Sauble and Spanish Rivers. The community was an early lumber settlement, and has evolved into a farming and recreational centre.

This park contains several scenic waterfalls and is popular for camping, fishing and picnicking. An exhibit at Graveyard Rapids discusses the hazards of the log-driving era at the turn of the century on the Aux Sables River.
Massey Area Museum

This museum illustrates the area’s history from the Indians through the 1790 trading post (Fort LaCloche) to the lumbering era. Open March to October on weekends, and daily from mid-June to Labour Day.
