Anderson Farm Museum
on Regional Road 24, 1 km north of Regional Road 55
Just south of Lively, about 15 km southwest of Sudbury
The Anderson family came to the Sudbury area from Finland in the early 1900s. The Museum consists of a carefully restored dairy farm, and includes horse-drawn machinery and a windmill power generator.
Art Gallery of Sudbury

This gallery is housed in the mansion of lumber magnate William J Bell and exhibits both historical and contemporary Canadian art.
Centre Franco-Ontarien de Folklore

This centre displays historic articles, books and traditional songs portraying Franco-Ontarian culture since early French settlement in the province. Displays include household implements, musical instruments, and tools.
Copper Cliff Museum

This museum is in a pioneer log cabin from the early 1900s, and is furnished as it would have been by early Copper Cliff settlers. Open early June through August 11 am to 4 pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Flour Mill Heritage Museum

This museum is in a 1903 clapboard house once owned by the Manitoba and Ontario Flour Mill Company, for housing the company’s foreman. Exhibits include antique furniture, early hand tools and weapons, as well as farm implements.
La Galierie du Nouvel-Ontario

Tours are offered of the campus, the arboretum, and the planetarium. Evening sky tours of the Doran Planetarium provide insights into modern astronomy. Please call a week in advance for tours.
Northern Ontario Railroad and Heritage Centre

This museum displays the history of railroading, mining, forestry and early settlement in the Capreol area.. Displays include the first steam train used in the North, and historic railroad equipment.
Science North Science Centre

This is Northern Ontario’s top tourist attraction, with easy-to-use hands-on laboratory exhibits that help visitors see science’s impact on the day-to-day lives. See a 3-D show, play on computers, and handle live animals. There is also a five -storey IMAX cinema in Science North (call 523-IMAX).
