    Located on the Dufferin Terrace behind Château Frontenac, the Glissades de la Terrasse is the only attraction of its kind in the province of Québec. Zoom down a slide standing 82 m / 270 feet high in a specially built toboggan, reaching speeds of up to 90 km/h / 60 mph before coming to a stop at the bottom, 152 m / 500 feet away. Onsite skating rink ($2 fee per person£). Skate rentals: $5 (includes fee). Miniature outdoor sugar shack.
    Opening Hours: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Admission: Group rate available for a half-day or based on the number of runs.

    This maze, which looks like a fort, is a dodecagon (in laymen's terms, it has 12 sides). The object of this activity is to find the centre of the maze by answering humorous and educational questions. It takes about 2½ hours to get through the maze. The questions and maze layout are changed every month.

    In summer, Valcartier Vacation Village is the largest water park in Canada! The site features more than 23 different water slides, some of which are found only in Québec! Novelty for 2004: major aquatic attraction including tandem slides and a witching river with a mediaeval look. The water park also features a huge wave pool, a .5 km adventure-packed tropical river, the Everest -the only accelerating slide of its kind in North America, karting, and an ultra-modern campground with 680 sites right inside the park. Note that the water in all of the basins and in the wave pool is heated to 28°C (80°F). A team of 65 qualified lifeguards carefully monitors all waterways, and lifejackets are provided free of charge on request. In winter, Valcartier Vacation Village offers 42 sliding hills adapted for inner tubes and carpet slides for young and old alike. Don't miss the Himalaya, a high thrills sector where you speed down very long, steep slopes. Then discover the amazing Everest for snow rafting enthusiasts and the Tornado. Also found on-site, 17 mechanical lifts, 4 500 inner tubes, a play area with slides for toddlers, skating paths with musical accompaniment and lighting in the evening, karting on ice, and last but not least, a complete range of catering and bar services.
