Alex Youck School Museum

This working one-room school house is a museum with teaching artifacts going back 100 years. Open year-round, Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (weekends by appointment).
Condie Nature Reserve
Highway 11, 14 km NW of Regina (Exit A)

This nature reserve has a small lake stocked with perch and over 4 km of nature trails. Reserve and picnic grounds open year round dawn to dusk. Free admission.
IPSCO Wildlife Park
North on Highway 6, 6.4 kilometres, on Armour Road to IPSCO Plant grounds

The wildlife park has live buffalo, elk, black German deer, ring-necked pheasants, guinea hens, geese, and pea fowl. There is a locomotive, playground with a long slide, kiddie train, heated pool, and concession. Open May 22 to Sept 6, 11 am to 7 pm, free admission. The pool is open May 1 - 7 pm, June to August Weekdays 1 pm - 7 pm, weekends 11 am - 7 pm.
Kings Park Speedway

This is Regina’s area motor speedway, with a 1/3 mile high-banked oval track. Typically 15 events per racing season, which runs from May 23 to September 19th. Events include CASCAR races, IMCA modified races, demolition derbies, and rock concerts.
Kramer IMAX Theatre

The Kramer IMAX Theatre shows educational-oriented movies on a five storey tall screen, with 11,000 watts of six-channel curround sound. Several shows daily.
RCMP Centennial Museum

This is the official museum of the RCMP, reflecting the development of Canada with displays of equipment, uniforms, weapons, personal belongings, photos and other archival material. Tour the museum, the RCMP chapel and the grounds. Open June 1 to September 15, daily 8 am to 6:45 pm; Spetember 16 to May 31 daily 10 am to 4:45 pm. Tours are at 9 am (summer only), 10, 11 am, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 pm. Free admission.
Regina Cemetary Walking Tours

Take a year-round self-guided cemetery tour in the provinces oldest and most interesting cemetery. Two tours offer either prominent city fathers or immigrants and the city’s multicultural heritage.
Regina Firefighters Museum/ Fire Hall

This modern fire station contain both fire fighting equipment and the Regina Firefighters Museum. Tours are offered by appointment (age restriction may apply), and school age children must have 1 adult for each 5 -kids. Call 306-777-7714. Open Monday to Friday 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4;45 pm. Saskatchewan Science Centre

The Science Centre has over 100 permanent hands-on exhibits, live demonstrations and visiting exhibits. The Discovery Jones Fantastic Farming exhibit explores Saskatchewan’s agriculture and weather. The adjoining Kramer IMAX Theatre shows educational-oriented movies on a five storey tall screen.
Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame/Museum

This museum preserves the history of sport in Saskatchewan. Exhibits showcase Hall of Fame inductees with sports memorabilia and artifacts. Open year-round Monday - Friday 9 am to 5pm, and from May to Labour Day also open weekends. Free admission.
The Painted Buffalo Indian Trading Post

This is the largest operating trading post offering a unique variety of Plains Indians merchandise. Items include artwork, beadwork, craft supplies and unique gifts. Open year-round from Monday to Saturday 9 am - 5 pm.
Wascana Waterfowl Park

Several waterfowl ponds adjoining Wascana Lake support a native bird population that includes ducks, geese, pelicans, swans.Open May 1 - November 1 from 9 am to 9 pm. Guided tours can be arranged weekdays 9 am to 4 pm during the summer. Free admission.
Willow Island

Ferry departs from the overlook (north of Wascana Centre), from May 22 to Spetember 6 12 noon to 4 pm (group picnics can be reserved weekedays 5 pm - 9 pm and weekends 12 noon to 9 pm. Ferry ride costs $2 per person (return).
