Alex Youck School Museum 1600 4th Ave 306-791-8200 This working one-room school house is a museum with teaching artifacts going back 100 years. Open year-round, Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (weekends by appointment).
Assiniboia Gallery 2429 - 11th Ave 306-522-0997 Changing displays of leading Canadian artists. Open year-round, Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Free admission.
Diefenbaker Homestead Lakeshore Dr, west of Broad St (Wascana Centre) 306-522-3661 The boyhood home of Canada’s Prime Minster from 1957 to 1963, which was moved from Borden in 1967 and contains many family artifacts dating to the early 1900s. Open May 22 - September 6 from 9 am to 6 pm. Free admission.
Dunlop Art Gallery 2311-12 Ave (in the Central Library, downtown) 306-777-6040 The gallery is a department of the Regina Public Library and features local, regional and national artists in year-round exhibitions. Open Library hours ( Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - pm; Friday 9:30 am to 6 pm, Saturday 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Sunday 1:30 - 5 pm (Closed Statutory holidays). Free admission.
MacKenzie Art Gallery 3475 Albert S at corner of 23rd Ave. (Wascana Center) 306-522-4242 This Gallery hosts an excellent collection of contemporary and historical works by Canadian and international artists. The Gallery also hosts many touring exhibitions. Open year round from 11 am to 6 pm, Wednesday & Thursday until 10 pm. Free admission.
Native Heritage Foundation Gallery East Wing of Legislative Building, Legislative Drive (Wascana Centre) 306-522-0997 This gallery is devoted to the exhibition and promotion f native art. Open Victoria Day to Labour Day 8 am to 9 pm, remainder of the year 8 am to 5 pm. Free admission.
RCMP Centennial Museum RCMP Depot Division, Dewdney Ave W 306-780-5838 This is the official museum of the RCMP, reflecting the development of Canada with displays of equipment, uniforms, weapons, personal belongings, photos and other archival material. Tour the museum, the RCMP chapel and the grounds. Open June 1 to September 15, daily 8 am to 6:45 pm; Spetember 16 to May 31 daily 10 am to 4:45 pm. Tours are at 9 am (summer only), 10, 11 am, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 pm. Free admission.
Regina Firefighters Museum/ Fire Hall 1205 Ross Ave, Headquarters Building 306-777-7837 This modern fire station contain both fire fighting equipment and the Regina Firefighters Museum. Tours are offered by appointment (age restriction may apply), and school age children must have 1 adult for each 5 -kids. Call 306-777-7714. Open Monday to Friday 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4;45 pm. Free admission.
Regina Plains Museum 1801 Scarth St (under the clock tower), 4th Floor 306-780-9435 This museum preserves the history of Regina people in the context of the Plains region. Adsmission $2 adults, $1 students and seniors (children under 6 free). Open year-round.
Royal Saskatchewan Museum College Ave and Albert St 306-787-2815 This is Regina’s largest museum, and has several galleries. First Nations Gallery traces 10,000 years of aboriginal culture. The Earth Sciences Gallery shows 2 billion years of geological evolution. The Paleo Pit shows how a scientific excavation is done. Open May 1 to Labour Day daily 9 am to 5:30 pm, the remainder of the eyar 8:30 to 4:30 pm (closed Christmas Day).
Saskatchewan Archives 3303 Hillsdale (near Saskatchewan Centre of the Arts) 306-787-4068 The archives store historical records of the province’s past, including premiers’ papers, private memoirs, local histories, oral histories, photos, film, as well a s organizational histories. Open weekdays 9 am to 5 pm, with limited service 12 -1 pm and 4 -5 pm . Free admission.
Saskatchewan Military Museum 1600 Elphinstone (TheArmoury), Room 112 306-347-9349 Saskatchewan military history from 1885 to present is displayed with artifacts and archival material. Exhibits showcase units, communities, and individual struggles. Open year-round Tuesday & Wednesdays 1-3 pm and Saturdays 2 - 5 pm (and by appointment). Free admission.

Saskatchewan Science Centre Winnipeg St and Wascana Dr (Wascana Centre) 306-522-4629 1-800-667-6300 The Science Centre has over 100 permanent hands-on exhibits, live demonstrations and visiting exhibits. The Discovery Jones Fantastic Farming exhibit explores Saskatchewan’s agriculture and weather. The adjoining Kramer IMAX Theatre shows educational-oriented movies on a five storey tall screen.
Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame/Museum 2205 Victoria Ave (the old land Titles Building) 306-780-9232 This museum preserves the history of sport in Saskatchewan. Exhibits showcase Hall of Fame inductees with sports memorabilia and artifacts. Open year-round Monday - Friday 9 am to 5pm, and from May to Labour Day also open weekends. Free admission.
