A. E. Wilson Park
McCarthy Rd, north of Dewdey
A. E. Wilson Park is a 300-acre park along Wascana Creek, with a soccer field, a fastball diamond and picnic sites. It is also the home of the Rick Hansen Optimist Playground, specially designed for all children, including those with disabilities.

City of Regina Greenhouse
4th Ave and John St

This greenhouse features seasonal floral displays (especially Christmas, Easter and Fall). Also hosts the Chrysanthemum Shows. Gift Shop is open to all. Open Sept 1 to may 31, from 1 pm to 4:30 pm. Closed June to August, and Christmas Day. Free Admission.

Condie Nature Reserve
Highway 11, 14 km NW of Regina (Exit A)

This nature reserve has a small lake stocked with perch and over 4 km of nature trails. Reserve and picnic grounds open year round dawn to dusk. Free admission.

From Rotary Park to AE Wilson Park

This park extends along Wascana Creek from Rotary Park (West of St Albert Bridge) to AE Wilson Park (at Ritter Ave) and has 8 kilometres of paged scenic pathway. This pathway passes through several parks and connects to the Wascana Pathway. Popular for running, cycling and in-line skating.

IPSCO Wildlife Park
North on Highway 6, 6.4 kilometres, on Armour Road to IPSCO Plant grounds

The wildlife park has live buffalo, elk, black German deer, ring-necked pheasants, guinea hens, geese, and pea fowl. There is a locomotive, playground with a long slide, kiddie train, heated pool, and concession. Open May 22 to Sept 6, 11 am to 7 pm, free admission. The pool is open May 1 - 7 pm, June to August Weekdays 1 pm - 7 pm, weekends 11 am - 7 pm.

Wascana CentreAround Wascana Lake, east of Albert Street
Wascana Centre, built around Wascana Lake, is one of the largest urban parks in North America. The Park covers 2,300 acres in the heart of the city and is home to many of Regina's attractions, such as theSaskatchewan Legislative Building, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, the Saskatchewan Science Centre, the Kramer IMAXTheatre, the Saskatchewan Centre of the Arts, and the Mackenzie Art Gallery. The University of Regina is also located at the southern end of the scenic park.

Wascana Waterfowl Park

Several waterfowl ponds adjoining Wascana Lake support a native bird population that includes ducks, geese, pelicans, swans.Open May 1 - November 1 from 9 am to 9 pm. Guided tours can be arranged weekdays 9 am to 4 pm during the summer. Free admission.

Willow Island

Ferry departs from the overlook (north of Wascana Centre), from May 22 to Spetember 6 12 noon to 4 pm (group picnics can be reserved weekedays 5 pm - 9 pm and weekends 12 noon to 9 pm. Ferry ride costs $2 per person (return).

Victoria Park
This park is the heart of Regina's modern downtown. From the park, you have views of the "MacCallum Twin" towers, as well as the curvey Sask Power building and the old Hotel Saskatchwean.
