BC: The Trans-Canada highway east of Golden (at the Kicking Horse Canyon) is open 24/7 for the long weekend from Friday noon to Tuesday noon.
After the long weekend, the highway will remain open with short (30 min) daytime construction stops, and overnight closures (midnight to 7 am) with detour via Radium.
This scheduling pattern will continue through the summer (LONG WEEKENDS EXCEPTED: Canada Day, Heritage Day, and Labour Day)
