The Sheguiandah First Nation of Ojibways live on Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron. Their Reserve is very small and a fraction of Manitoulin Island Reserve which was illegally stolen from these Ojibway People. Sheguiandah First Nation’s Reserve, covers a land area of 20.77 sq. km. or 8.0 sq. mi. Their on-Reserve population is 134 according to 2016’s census.
