Just south of Conception Bay, at Manuels, you can search for trilobite fossils along the banks of the Manuels River. At Long Pond is the Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club and the Long Pond Beach. The community of Kelligrews is celebrated in the folk song “The Kelligrews Soiree.” Then you pass through Upper Gullies and Seal Cove to Holyrood, which is a favourite area for sailors as well as families enjoying the swimming pool at Holyrood’s Municipal Park. <BR>
