Honey Barbour

Beausoleil Island
Directly across from Honey Harbour.
Take Highway 11 south then west on Honey Harbour Rd. to Honey Harbour. The Park Information Office has details and maps. Paddle west through Big Dog Channel, between Little Beausoleil Island and Roberts Island, making camp on Tonch Point. Or you can head northwest up the main channel, and then left through Little Dog Channel, camping at Blueberry, Sandpiper, or Chimney Bay campsites. You may decide to paddle up the main channel, between Beausoleil and Deer Islands, making camp on either Cherry, Godettes, or Honeymoon Bay.

Couchiching Beach Park
Location : Couchiching Beach Park is located on the west shore of Lake Couchiching at the intersection of Bay St. and Jarvis St., and adjoining Centennial Park.
Features : Aqua Theatre, ball diamond, beach - swimming, concession, flower gardens, outdoor rink, picnic shelter, picnic tables, a playground, walking path, washroom facilities, water fountain, change rooms.

Lakeshore parks at Orillia J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park
Location : J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park is nestled between the intersection of Atherley Rd. and Highway 12 and is bordered on the north by the south shore of Lake Couchiching.
Features: Lighted ball diamonds, curling ice, flower gardens, meeting room, Picnic tables, walking path, washroom facilities, and beautiful shoreline. This is also the location of the Barnfield Point Recreation Centre.

Kitchener Park
Location : Kitchener Park is located at southwest of the intersection of West St. S and Kitchener St. The park extends south to the north shore of Lake Simcoe.
Features : Lighted ball diamonds, concession, flower gardens, horseshoe pits, outdoor rink, picnic tables, a playground, lighted soccer pitches, lighted tennis courts, washroom facilities. Beautiful Lake Simcoe shoreline.

Weaver's Creek Valley

The 300-metre boardwalk allows people to enjoy a little known wilderness area within the City. Weaver's Creek is one of the most significant tributaries in the Sydenham River watershed, and the site of fish habitat and hatchery operations since 1902.

Wasaga Beach

Wasaga Beach Provincial Park
Within the Town of Wasaga Beach is a Provincial Park, 14 km in length, consisting of 350 acres of beach and picnic areas. There are six gated beach areas (areas 1-6) and two ungated beach areas (Allenwood and New Wasaga Beach). While provincial cut-backs have eliminated the Beach Patrol Program in Wasaga Beach, teams consisting of a qualified lifeguard and a Park warden patrol the beach daily on ATV's and mountain bikes. A patrol boat augments these teams, providing safe surroundings for a visit to the beach.
