Why Visit Barrie?

This city, on the shores of Lake Simcoe is the gateway to Toronto's northern cottage country. The city makes a great base to visit Wasaga Beach and Collingwood t the northwest, Orillia and the Trent-Severn Canal to the north east, and Midland and Pentanguishene to the north. To the south is a pastoral rural area with drive-ins, farmers markets and lots of beaches.
